Marathon run hurdle

So I ran 26 miles on Monday 1st May 2017 with my best friend don’t think I could have done it without him. I have always wanted to run the Belfast Marathon but never thought I’d have the energy to or motivation to do it but I bulked up my diet and got 6 weeks training in with 2 20 mile runs. I could not believe I did it it took me 4:26 to complete but I was mentally exhausted and knees were sore at 13 mile mark. I am so proud of myself as are my kids now I am looking for my next challenge. I cannot let anxiety stop me from doing things I have to push on through and start ticking off my bucket list. Life can be so short sometimes so we need to live each day as if it’s our last. If you want to do something get off your butt and make it happen sign up and get friends or family involved to help keep you motivated and do for a charity and have a treat at the end always helps with motivation .
