Sweet dreams

I have experienced #insomnia quite a few times in my life and not nice at all. Lack of sleep means you can’t get up, can’t get motivated, tired, forget things, put things in strange places, forget the time, irritable, feel sick, crave carbs and sugars, too tired to exercise, can’t deal with things and have a mental breakdown.

I’m in a better place and rarely this happens but start of this year I had a few sleepless weeks due to #stress and #anxiety and from previous experience I knew what I needed to do.

Having trouble sleeping try my tips

No phone or iPad an hour before bed

Have a handful of walnuts

Glass of cherry juice

Chamomile tea

Read a book and I don’t mean an educational one something that takes you out of your life

Make a list of all the things you need to do tomorrow to clear your head

Eat a kiwi 🥝

A few drops of lavender oil on your pillow

Wear socks

My bednight routine is walnuts, camomile tea, trashy book and a few drops of lavender got for £1 from #homebargains this works for me
