Make a plan

Create a timeline for when the different stages of your plan need to be complete in order to achieve your end goal

Prioritise what is important to get the task done

Reward yourself when you get to each stage and have completed all tasks

As you start making progress all of the other things will disappear

You will not procrastinate

Will not fear that you are not good enough or can’t do this

Don’t be angry doesn’t get you anywhere

Do feel sorry for yourself

Focus on the future

You will get there and you can do it

Sunday morning protein brunch

Sunday morning lie in achieved for once my youngest got hungry so helped herself, so I got up and made them protein pancakes and waffles

I had a protein vanilla yogurt bowl with banana, banana chips, chai seeds, seeds, bran flakes and a date delicious and nutritious followed by snuggles on the sofa and watching a Christmas movie jingle all the way

Saturday night sweet potato pizza

Saturday night tea

As requested by the kids my sweet potato pizza

The base is made with

2 sweet potato

Half a cup of oats

Half a cup plain flour

1 scoop protein powder

1 spoonful of olive oil

Pinch of sea salt

Egg

Blend in a food processor then bake in the oven cook one side then flip to cook other side

Then top with tomato passata, tomato paste, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, green pesto, seeds, rocket and avocado

Best one yet

Add a fire, Xmas movie and a G&T perfect Saturday night

Vegan protein smoothie bowl

What’s the best way to start your morning? With a good source of protein that is high in protein but low in fat and that is why I use protein powder to help me build lean muscle fast without having to eat loads of meat.

At the minute I am using the vegan protein powder but have to say I prefer the whey protein as it makes thicker shakes and has a better taste. Healthy parents mean healthy kids

Healthy start to the day it will give you energy, help with focus and concentration so don’t forget what you are giving your little ones too. My 6 year old wanted the same as me a healthy breakfast with mummies healthy oats, she does listen to me and watches what I eat so don’t forget that when you are eating set a good example and make sure you are a good role model.

Don’t forget the food you put into your mouth is your fuel for the day not only for your energy but like I said focus and concentration so make sure you and your kids are getting some slow release carbs like bran or oats, brown or multigrain toast, some protein either milk or yogurt or eggs and your good fats like some nuts and seeds and some fruit.

Cardio for all

Workout Wednesday

Today I did a run one of my 3 cardio workouts every week I love it because I get outside in the fresh air great for your mental health and love the endorphins that follow the feel good hormones

I use my amped hydrate to fuel my workouts which helps with performance, endurance and recovery so no sore muscles afterwards

Need to up my runs to twice a week I think

So when doing workouts do something you enjoy

Cycling

Running

Swimming

Pole dancing

Gymnastics

Martial arts

Dancing

Make sure it is something you enjoy otherwise you will not stick at it & having friends to go makes it a social occasion and also gives you that motivation to go.

Just remember like we teach our children

Consistency is key

How do they improve in school reach their goals by being consistent so why do we not lead by example

Think about what kind of a role model you are for your kids as they will more than likely copy what you do and follow in your footsteps so be consistent, healthy & exercise and try to do things with your kids, walking the dog, swimming, cycling whatever you all enjoy doing

So don’t forget your workout 20 mins a day is all it takes for a healthy body & mind

Overnight power oats and chai seeds

So I used half of my protein porridge and added some chai seeds for overnight oats and seeds

Topped with some maple syrup

Almonds and cashews

Dried peas

Sunflower, pumpkin and flax seeds

I decided to scoop

It out and add some Greek yogurt then topped with a few more seeds and a drizzle of maple Syrup

Devilishly delicious and nourishing and filling

Packed with so many nutrients, minerals, vitamins and protein everything I need to keep me going to lunch
